MRS. DUNCAN McLEAN DIES
Mrs. Duncan McLean died at her home in East Fork township at 2:20 o'clock Wednesday April 10th, aged 68 years, 1 month and 18 days.
The deceased was born in Fulton County, Pa., her maiden name being Martha J. Marks. When she was 15 years old she came to Illinois with her parents Christian and Nancy Marks and the family settled in Irving township where on Nov. 27, 1873 she was united in marriage with Duncan McLean, who survives her. Five children were born to this union, Robert Earl, died in infancy. The surviving children are: Charles, Gloyd, Willa and Maude. She also leaves one sister Miss Alice Marks, one grandchild and hosts of friends.
Mrs. McLean was for years a faithful member of the Presbyterian church and was a consistent christian mother, devoted to her home.
The funeral will be held at the residence at 11 a.m. Friday, and the remains will be laid to rest at Oak Grove mausoleum.
