The Historical Society has an incredible early photo collection documenting the history of Montgomery County thanks in part to these photographers:
Ninian A. Robison (Hillsboro) - Photos signed as N.A. Robison or Robison
Ninian died in 1873. If the photo was taken after that, the photo was taken by his wife Catherine.
Later photos were marked "Anthony and Robison Gallery"
Jesse Hanson Jones (Hillsboro) - Photos signed as J. Hanson Jones or Jones
Charles Berner (Hillsboro) - Photos signed as C. Berner
Daniel D. Tennyson (Hillsboro & Litchfield)
Daniel took many photos for the Montgomery News.
Franklin H. Larrabee (Hillsboro) - Photos signed as F.H. Larrabee
