  • Elizabeth Dupraz I would appreciate any information concerning the Striplin/g family of Litchfield, Illinois. My ggggrandfather was Edward Striplin who settled in Litchfield (Honey Bend) on military bounty land in 1849-1850. He farmed that land until his death in 1892. According to my father who was born in Litchfield as well, most of Edward's descendants still live there. So, if someone knows anything about this family, please contact me.
