  • Hillsboro Illinois I'm looking for pictures of the Truedale or Truedell family from Hillsboro. My great great grandfather was Edwin or Edward his daughter (my great grandmother) was Hannah Truesdale who married Ralph Neighbors Sr. I am also looking for information on Ralph Sr who disappears off the census. If anyone could send me any information it would be greatly appreciated. Hannah played piano in taverns under the stage name Midge Neighbors. Thanks

  • Jeffrey B. Dunn Saturday October 8th at 8am - Clean up day at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro. We plan on straightening and repairing headstones in the oldest part of the cemetery. We need as many people as possible to help us restore this section of the cemetery. There are hundreds of small headstones that are leaning or have fallen over. You might bring: buckets, small shovels, scrub brush, rakes, etc.

    Old Settlers Cabin Photo
Remember way back when the old log cabin used to stand in the center of the fairground which is now the Hillsboro Junior High School campus? It was shortly after it was moved back to where it now stands at the rear of the new building, that this picture was taken.
