 | Lesa Oathout Ann,
I have several cemetery photos I took in Montgomery County cemeteries. How do I post them to the names in the cemetery index?
Thanks, Lesa about 2 months ago | | Jeffrey B. DunnI'm doing some upgrades on the web site. On the members menu above, click on my photos and add your photos there. We will move them to the cemetery page later.

 | susan bailey Hi Ann, I have many old family photos that I would like to post, including a 1921 Hillsboro senior class album which may be of interest to folks who have family members from the Hillsboro area. The album is individual photos (3X5) of class members attached to paper with photo corners. The names of most of the class members are written on the paper, I think by my Great Aunt Mabel Bailey. Is there a preferred way to add these photos so that they can be searched by others? about 2 months ago | | Jeffrey B. DunnYou click on the members toolbar and select my photos and add your photos there.

 | Jean Gruber You posted the cemetery listings for George, Emille, Herman, Mary and Dorothy Gruber in 2010. George was my great-uncle. Can you transfer these to My cemetery page? Thanks. (Are you related to them in some way?) about 4 months ago | | Ann StoddardHi Jean, I'm not related. My mom and I read Edgewood Cemetery a few years ago. Sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean by transfer the photos to your cemetery page. The photos are also posted on findagrave.com if you would like to have a copy of them.

 | JUDY PAWLEY Ann, My great great grandfather, J. C. Long (1832-1866) and his brother Alvin W. Long (1834-1877) (and his wife Sarah Adeline Long) are buried in Elmwood Cemetery. J. C. is in Section/Block 53 Plot 16. I would like to obtain a copy of J. C. and Alvin's birth certificates--certified is not necessary, Joseph's marriage license from 14 Feb 1858--in Litchfield, and Joseph's son's birth certificate (my great grandfather), Clifton Worthington Long b. 1864 in Litchfield. What's the best way to obtain these documents. Thank you! about 5 months ago | | |

 | Donna Ortman Hi. I have contacted you before about memorials on Find A Grave. I wondered if you could transfer access of # 2008 (John Logan Sigley) to me? I will ask for other transfers, too....but I wanted to make sure this is possible.
Thank you and Merry Christmas! about 5 months ago | | Ann Stoddardthe memorials don't work the same way they do on findagrave. on this site you can comment at the bottom of each memorial.

 | Louis Athey Hi Anne, My old Irving friend Dale White and I have embarked on an attempt to identify all of our living classmates from HHS Class of 1947. A major obstacle is the lack of obituaries available to us since 1950. Has the Society given consideration to adding obituaries from county newspapers since 1950. I''d help as much as I can on such a project. Keep up the fine work of the Society, Lou Athey about 6 months ago | | Ann StoddardHi Louis, what a great project you and Dale have embarked upon. The Montgomery County Genealogical Society has an extensive collection of obituaries from Montgomery county newspapers. Here is a link to their site: http://mcgsil.com/researchcenter.html It would be wonderful to have these obits available online, but for now you can view them in person at their new research center.
