died 1884 in Hurricane, Fayette Co., IL. married to Alfred Hicks. She was my 2nd great grand,

 | barry white Sue, just saw your picture of the Davis family reunion of 1951. I may have been there, but couldn't tell from the picture.. I would have been 8 at the time. We used to go to those pretty often when I was a kid. Martin Davis was my Great Grandfather. Thanks for posting it.

My great grandmother was Etta Matilda Ishmael Donaldson, my gt gt grandmother Sophia Davis Ishmael and Martin Davis was my 3rd great grandfather, so that makes us cousins. Did you see the photo with Martin Davis and Elizabeth Hill? Do you happen to know if any photo of Martin Sr exists? I have been looking for one for 35 yrs!

I have some pictures that I got from my Mom that I haven't looked at in years. I don't think I have one of Martin Sr., but I'll check.
Don't know if you knew that Martin Sr had 15 Children by his first wife and 5 by his second wife. My Great Grandfather, Martin, was the youngest born in 1865.
I have a Davis Family Chronology that was given out at the Family reunion in 1955. If you want a copy let me know.

Yes, I did know about all of Martin's children. I am also a desc by his second wife.
