  • Carol Hounsell well it's on this site now. My daughter and I read this cemetery a couple of years ago.l Many of the headstone are badly deteriorated and very hard to read. You've given excellent directions. Next time we're there, we'll surely check this out and take a pic to add here. Go ahead and look up his name under the Cemetery Burial Index and you'll see what I posted for you.

    • Ann StoddardI will look through the other markers we were unable to identify at Raymond City Cemetery and see if I can find his marker. The time of day we performed the reading was not the most conducive to getting the best pictures. Next time we are in the area we want to reread the southwest section of the cemetery. We identified all the markers in the remainder of the cemetery. You can send the pic to ann.stoddard@gmail.com and I will post it for you and compare it to what we have. Raymond City Cemetery is a really a beautiful cemetery and well taken care of considering its age....

  • Susan Schwartz My ancestor, John Clinton Bennett, is buried in Raymond City Cemetery. I did not see him listed on your website. As you enter the cemetery, the stone is immediately on the left side, the 4th row back from the cemetery road and the closest to the highway. It is behind the Hickman stone and between it and the stones for Hiller, Harris and Sullivan. The stone is located about 40 feet from each road. It is hard to read. He was born 13 April 1827 and died 13 Dec. 1885.
