 | Marjorie Bailey NOKOMIS COAL MINER KILLED
Joseph Wyld, a coal miner employed in the north mine at Nokomis was caught beneath a fall of coal in the shaft, Tuesday afternoon and was fatally injured. He was placed in an ambulance to be taken to the hospital at Pana but died while on the way there, his death occurring at Ohlman.
An inquest was held by Coroner Norvell Tuesday night a verdict of accidental death returned.
The deceased was an Englishman and was 32 years of age. He leaves a widow. He had resided in Nokomis for the past two years.
