Stephen White I found that my Great Grandmother worked at a Almshouse in Montgomery County in the 1930's. Where would that facility site have been? The 1930 census shows east fork township.

Marjorie BaileyHello. I believe that would have been the County Poor Farm. It was in East Fork Twp Section 19 and Hillsboro Twp Section 24. Highway 185 runs through there now and Graham Correctional Center is on the south side of the highway.

Jeffrey B. DunnI can't find any photos of the Montgomery County Poor Farm. I'm kind of surprised. There is a cemetery on the property with burials from the 1880's to the 1940's. That means the facility was around for at least 60 years. There just isn't any information on it.

Jeffrey B. DunnThe cemetery is still there. I went to the courthouse on Thursday and got good mapping info. We went by there today. It’s on County owned ground that Jason Anderson farms. We still have to let the prison know before going onto the property.
